ABSORBING CAPACITY – UP TO 400%
Microbiological safety
Pullum bedding undergoes thermal processing at over 90 degrees under high pressure. Unlike standard straw, it guarantees trace fungi and moulds content and very low microorganism content.
Pullum cattle bedding
is made of cereal straw broken up into small fractions and extruded under high pressure to provide significantly higher absorbing capacity than cut straw, bind more urine and prevent ammonia and other unpleasant odours. It needs less frequent changing.
Professional bedding for livestock.

Softness and resilience
- Soft and resilient ready to use bedding with optimum particle size.
- Safer than wood pellet bedding; unlike pellets made fully or partially of coniferous wood does not emit harmful phenols.
Bacteria, pathogen and fungus-free bedding.
Pullum bedding undergoes high-temperature processing and, unlike standard straw, does not contain bacteria and fungi.
Clean and easy to use.
Easy to spread pellets, 0.3 mm dia. and 0.6 mm long.
Pullum bedding is easier to clean and change
than straw and requires less makeup between changes.
Durable and time-saving.
Pullum bedding is easily and quickly changed, less often than standard straw.
Less storage space and easier to transport than straw.

Features:
Hygienic
Pullum bedding is made of specially selected cereal straw (mainly wheat). It undergoes thermal processing at over 90oC to guarantee trace fungi and moulds content and very low microorganism content.
Absorbing capacity
higher absorbing capacity prevents soaking and encrustation.
For comparison,
100 kg of sawdust absorbs approx.
180 kg of water, cut wheat straw absorbs approx.
250 kg of water while Pullum absorbs no less than 370 kg of water.
High absorbing capacity is due to the straw extrusion process, as a result of which its fibrous structure is broken up and the material absorbs moisture not only at the fibre ends, but on its entire surface.
Softness and resilience
to prevent mechanical damage to the skin that may cause infections. Pullum is available in “fine” version for poultry and a compacted, glossy pellet for hoofed livestock.
No dust
dustiness causes respiratory tract diseases. Dust is removed during the extrusion and breaking up process to reduce the risk of respiratory tract diseases in poultry.
